Danny O'Connell's railroad journey began at the tracks, working roles like Brakeman, Switchman, Conductor, and Certified Engineer with the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway (ATSF). His tenure at Amtrak further enriched his foundational understanding of train operations, elevating him to executive positions. From the Road Foreman of Engines to Superintendent at Amtrak, Danny led vast teams, fostered relationships with federal and state agencies, and stayed updated with the industry's evolving practices.
